I test two mirrors, one is what we are trying to test, the other one is what I set as reference.

I use one microscope slide to attach two gratings for source and detector respectively. That's because we want to make sure these two gratings are parallel, not cause any deflection on the result in ideal situation.

use two slides with two gratings, put together like sandwich to make sure further.
